Computer Graphics from the Beginning

From one pixel set by hand to the two machines every picture on a screen comes from: a rasteriser that turns triangles into pixels as a GPU does, and a ray tracer that follows light backwards from the eye — through colour, sampling, geometry, cameras, shading, textures, shadows, shaders on the real GPU, path tracing, materials, curves, animation and neural rendering. Thirty-two volumes, every plate in English and Chinese.
